MEMBERSHIP
Membership to The Regals Mopar Car Club Inc is open to all pre 1981 Chrysler, Valiant, Dodge and Plymouth related vehicles. Membership entitles you access to club meetings, cruises, shows and events, plus a photo of your car on our website. You will be eligible to club-sponsored discounts and may be eligible to corporate sponsorship. (More information available at club meetings).
Your vehicle
We all know there is nothing better than seeing a wicked Mopar driving down the road. We want our members to feel the pride of owning something they can be proud of. As a club, we wish to bring out the passion within Mopar owners, that we know can’t be matched. We believe this is the difference between our club and others.
There are plenty of people within the club that possess the skills and who are motivated to assist. We encourage anyone to join our club, but in return, all we ask is our members to show pride in their vehicles. At the end of the day, The Regals Mopar Car Club Inc is only as strong as its members and their vehicles.
Full Membership
Membership fees are $50.00 per annum, and are renewable at the monthly General Meeting, prior to the expiry of your membership. Fees include a Regals Mopar Car Club sticker, keyring, membership card and full membership for you and your family. If there is more than one suitable vehicle per family, and you intend for another family member to participate in club events with the additional vehicle, membership is payable per participating vehicle, limited to one vehicle per person. We kindly request that members help support the club and purchase at least one item of official merchandise. There are a number of items available, including t-shirts, caps, stickers and keyrings.
Associate Membership
Associate membership fees are $25.00 per annum. An associate membership is available for those who do not currently own a vehicle, but wish to be part of the club and/or participate in club functions, meetings or outings. Becoming an associate member entitles you to all the perks of full membership, minus the eligibility to vote. Associate members may become full members once they possess a vehicle and pay the difference of the full membership fee. Anyone wishing to join as an associate member is more than welcome, and it’s a great way to get into the hobby!
Regulations
New members will be under a 60 day probationary period. This will give current members time to assess the individual's personality, dedication and vehicle. Probationary members should endeavour to attend all meetings and club functions during this period to allow current members to get to know the prospective member. However, we at the Regals fully understand that not all new members can attend every event due to work and family commitments. The committee have the right to revoke any membership if they find the probationary member does not conduct themselves in a manner complimentary to the club and its ethics.
Rules
As The Regals Mopar Car Club Inc is an Incorporated Association. The club follows the Model Rules as set out by The Department of Fair Trading, with amendments as determined by the committee. The amendments are available upon request by contacting the club Secretary.
All members should conduct themselves in such a manner that is in the best interest of the club and/or its members.
Members may be suspended or expelled by a decision of a properly constituted meeting of The Regals Mopar Car Club Inc for actions contrary to the club’s interest. If this occurs the member will be notified in writing, and will have the right to appeal to the committee at the next meeting after his/her notification.
