Thirlmere Festival of Steam - Car Show

The Thirlmere Festival of Steam is proudly brought to you by Wollondilly Shire Council in partnership with Transport Heritage NSW, operators of the NSW Rail Museum.

On Sunday 19 May, it's double the fun as Thirlmere comes to life with market stalls, live performances, a car display, street parade and all the activities at the NSW Rail Museum.

EVENT INFORMATION

Date: Sunday, 19^th May 2024

Location: Thirlmere Town Centre (Barbour Rd, Oaks St & Westbourne Ave Thirlmere NSW 2572)

Event Time: 9.00am – 4.00pm 

Allocation Site: Westbourne Ave, see sight map

BUMP-IN DETAILS

Bump-In Commences: 6.30 - 8:00am

Access to the Event Site:

·       All access to the event site will be through the Westbourne Ave Road Closure point (please see attached access map)

·       Traffic Control will allow stallholders entry through the Road Closure and Council Staff will then direct you to your allocated space.

·       Please ensure hazard lights are used within the Road Closure area and that 5km speed is maintained.

·       Once at your allocated site, please ensure you are not blocking the road for other vehicles.

·       Access for pedestrians must be clear at all times, please ensure vehicles are placed in a manner that does not hinder the flow of pedestrians in the area.

BUMP-OUT DETAILS

Bump-Out Commences: 4.00pm

Access to the Event Site:

• Vehicles will exit via Westbourne Ave Road Closure point (please see the access map attached) the only be granted access to the Road Closure area once pedestrian activity has ceased after 4.00pm
